VARGAS FESTIVAL 2007

Hello!!!

this week end we had the 4th edition of the Vargas Festival, a competition that Marcos Perez organize every year. This year we even had a Kite competition. The condition were ok to be a ble to run everything: kite competition, freestyle waves windsurfing competition and a long distance in both wind and kite. I did 3rd in the long distance and 4th in the freestyle waves... i am super happy, because it was against the boys! In the windsurfing, Pablo Ruiz won the Freestyle waves and Josep Pons the long distance. Once again it was a great event, we had a lot of fun and had a great time sailing!!!

this summer has been pretty good around the Canaries. Pretty good winds and waves nearly non stop every week... This are some frames taken from some video. All the best!!!!

SOME TIME WITH FRIENDS

last week we had a really good bbq with friends up in the mountains in Gran Canaria. It was really nice, but it was also sad, bacause a few weeks ago the other side of this mountains got on fire, and a lot of beautifull places got burn. My friend´s house was safe us the wind was blowing in the other direction, but we could make ourselve and idea about how much everybody lost...

John and I could stay for a few more days in Fuerteventura and we stayed in the north shore, in Nicole Boronat, and Steffan Etienne´s home... i was really nice, and Steffan gave us a beautifull statue...

Now, after all the summer events, it is time to relax, and free-sail!!!! yeah! This was last week, at Silvia´s birthday, followed by the closing ceremony of the Fuerteventura event, and therefore the first time out since the Guincho event!!! so much fun!
