Hi,

We arrived here in SA three days ago. Luckily it wasnt windy that day and we sort of could take it easy, sorting out our life a bit, doing some supermarket shoping, etc... the day after, it was quite windy. we went first to the lake to parctice some freestyle, and then after to Melkboos to wave sail a bit. My knee started hurting while in Melkboos, and got worst with time. this morning it wasnt better, so I satyed out of the water and I am going to the Chiropracter this afternoon to check it out... finger crossed is nothing and I can go back on the water tomorrow again....

the pic from the house is where we are staying... not bad, eh?. we are bout 10 people in the house...all the english crew!!!!! so it is a quite cheap deal in the end!

AND NOW, OFF TO CAPE TOWN

After a super nice month and a half at home, now it is time for some proper training. Here in GC hasnt been very good for sailing, some days here and there.. so now we are really expecting some good winds down there...finger crossed! we will only be away for three weeks, but we hope to make the most of it. Here you have ome pics from the last time I was there (I cant remember if it was two years ago or more??). Probably soon I will upload a a very similar one!

VARGAS LAST WEEK

Hi All,

We havent had much wind lately here in GC, but last week we had one pretty good day. Some fun waves and strong wind. Chris Pressler and Kerstin Reiger, from continentseven.com are here having some time off and took a few clips from that day in Vargas. the first one is me, the second one is John Skye and the third one is wonder-kid Philip Koster (he is 13, not sure if he turn 14 already...pretty amazing eh?)

...AND NOW, HAPPY NEW YEAR A BIT DELAYED!!!!

Well, it is still Xmas time in Spain, until the Three Kings come with the presents on the 6th (yes, here we are still waiting for the presents! ;-) so I am not spending much time computing.
New Year's eve was quite fun! Like always, I had dinner at home with my family and we ate the 12 grapes with the gongs at midnigh (a Spanish tradition). then we head to a party that a friend of mine organized. It was super good... nice music, all the friends there, drinks all night and food at about 5:30 in the morning, what helps a lot for the hangover! the only down bit was when we had to walk back home (impossible to get a taxi this night). Half and hour walk with my feet in so much pain!!!! ( I am not use to wear high hills, so I was really in pain!!!). but the good thing is that to start the year the right way, we had a really nice surf session right in front of the house. I hadnt drink much, so I was feeling pretty good, and I think a lot of people was hungover, so we were only a few out. It was glassy, grey day, but that made it look really calm and quite, a nice day to do things slow...
Now, tomorrow it is supossed to arrive a pretty massive swell (it was already pretty big today), and windy... so lets see what we get!
