WE MADE IT!!!! SPAIN WON THE EUROCUP IN FOOTBALL (FUTBOL IN SPANISH)

Tonight was a historic night!!!!!! Spain won the Eurocup... I dont really know how many years were, but there was a long time since Spain won something important in Futbol (like we say football in Spanish). We always were supossed to be really good, but we never quite made it. Always playing or really bad or having really bad luck when they played well. But this time, everything came together and we got it!!!! we have a brilliant team!!!!! John and I have been following all the games everynight, but the last thing we thought was that we were going to win!!!!! we saw the last games always at someone's house, giving it a bit more excitement...(i will put some more pics soonish..).
this pic and little vid is from the celebration that is going on right now in the center of the city here in Las Palmas. Pretty good!!!

I DONT GO TO LANZAROTE IN THE END.

Hi there,

In the end I decided not to go to the freestyle competition in Lanzarote. Though some people told me I should go, pretty much 90% of the people told me i better not to. I went on my freestyle board a couple of times, and even though it wasnt too-too bad, it wasnt very good neither. Plus all this months off the water put be behind the rest of the fleet a lot. So I have decided to stay home and try to train a bit more in waves and get stronger in the water and all that.

My God!!!! trying to sail Pozo this days is Mission Impossible!!! honestly, it is crazy down there. It hasnt been very good lately, so this weekend has been the best by miles in a long time, so everyone was there trying to make to most of it, but honestly, the bay its not big enough for everyone! pros training like crazy, locals hungry for the lack of conditions lately and a bit stressed with so many people at their spot, plus all the tourist that are one: way too excited about finally getting some all right conditions, two: overpowered with 3,7 trying to sail on a straight line and three: waaaaay too excited about sailing together with the pros= craziness in the water!!!!!!

I have been sailing couple of sessions a day, first at Vargas (a lot more relax, and to be honest, better waves and wind) and after in Pozo, god! how crazy was it. So i am dead!!!!!
I have been trying my new baby boards. Just two words: fucking sik! I got a twinser and a single. the twinser is taking me a bit of time to get use to it, but it feels amazing. to be honest, it feels much better at the waves in Vargas than in Pozo, but i have to say that Pozo hasnt been very good for riding these days. Today I didnt make it to the second session, I was way too tired (plus it is sunday, and if Vargas was already a bit too crowded i dont even want to imagine how POzo might has been!!!!!) , but i hope i can try the board there better tomorrow ...

sorry, no pictures lately, but too excited trying to get on the water when the tides are right....!!!

see ya!!!!

COMPETITION VIBES ARE ALREADY IN THE AIR.....

It is middle of June, and you can already feel it in the air. Everybody has arrived already to Pozo to train for the upcoming events and you just can feel the atmosphere has changed. it is really weird. As you know already I sail a lot more in Vargas than in Pozo, but the vibes get even there!! and when i have gone down to Pozo you can feel the stress in the air. It is really nice to see everyone at the beach and see all the friends from the Tour, and for me even more this year that i didnt go to Maui when everyone was there... but I dont like that feeling of stress that everyone gets. People is sailing like it's their last day on earth, and they dont really seem to be having fun but competing already. Dunno. Sometimes I don't really like it. And it is really weird and difficult from my position now. Everyone is sailing full power and there I am, sailing a bit like a kook still. The freestyle girls are sailing sik. Laure is already here and she is ripping, spinning around like crazy, super nice. Junko is freesrtyling super well too: Puñetas, sliders, etc...Japan power! and there is also a new Rusian girl that is sailing pretty well too. this is appart from the usual suspects of Daida, Iballa, Silvia Alba, etc.. and Sarah Quita hasnt arrived yet.. she must be awsome!!!! so far, i havent even jump on my freestyle board, not sure if I am ready to be twisting my foot around that much! so I still dont know what to do about Lanzarote... dont know if i should go or not... what do you think??????

it is soooo good.... thanks so much....

Well, everyday I can sail a bit better, still miles from sailing with 100% confidence but the recovery is going so well.
I want to thanks a lot to everyone that has been supporting me and cheering me up with emails and messages, my friend, family and boyfriend (they have all been veeeeeery patients and good with me!), and some really big special thanks to my sponsors: Fanatic, Severne, VW Comerciales, Rip Curl and obviously, my doctor Javier Hernández and my fisio Javier Iglesias. It is been pretty cool to go every morning to do my exercises there!
This few clips are from two days ago or so... it is to all of them... thanks!
