I am back home and i was going to take some time in my computer to reply to your messages, and by mistake i delete them! sorry! but thanks a lot for cheering me up and for your congrats... you are brilliant!!!
Now i will take some time off the water ( I promise!!!!), so i recover my shoulder a bit (it is so bloody painful...) at least until the weekend (what makes a total of 4 days rest, i guess it should be ok??? there are good conditions now, but it looks even better for the weekend... lets see!

FUERTE IS OVER... 7TH....HAPPY

Fuerte finished yesterday. i finished 7th in the end.... not bad for a cripple!!!!! hehehehehehhehe!!!! my goal was to finish in top 8 and I made a higher position so it is good. I think I am more motivated now to train freestyle, and that was another reason to come, to motivate myself again to do freestyle. And then it was the party at night. soooo much fun! not many people, pretty much only the sailors, but it was super good party. I am not feeling very well now, but I just need a few more hours of sleep!!!!!!!

NEARLY INVENTED A NEW MOVE BY MISTAKE!!!!!!!

heheheheheheh!!! yesterday was a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong day.
We started competing at 11:00, and my heat was on of the firsts. This meant that you had to be at the beach since 10. we completed a single and finished also the double, so we left the beach at about 18:45 after packing up everything. I had a good and lucky day. Honestly, I didnt sailed very well. Conditions were really difficult and I wasnt "in my zone". But it seems i was still doing better than others so i passed a few heats. With this, I think I have already reached my goal, that was to get into the top eight.
Anyway...the best thing of the day was when in my last heat against my team mate Laure i tried a Grubby coming in, and as it was going wrong, i turned around my back to the sail and grabbed the sail from the other side... I then fell, but was fun and the best thing was listening everybody at the beach cheering up after the attempt!!! I thought my pants had come down and showed my bum to the crowed, but then I realized i nearly invented a new move!!!! heheheheheh!!
Sarah Quita is just another level, and seeing her really makes me want to train freestyle, mybe i should move to Aruba to keep thinking like this!!! Daida is coming back strong and so is Laure, and Yoli is still doing good. It is been a fun comp for me.

FUERTE: YOLI TAKES SECOND!!!!!!!

Well, yesterday was a hectic day. We started pretty early in the morning, the wind was soooo strong!!!! I was on 3,2 powered up. Could pass the first round but lost to the japases power of Junko Nagoshi. But the best of the day was seeing my team mate Yoli get all the way to second! (Fanatic is definitely killing it in freestyle!) yes was a bit scared in the morning about the strong wind, but yes was just on fire!!!!!!! in the end, in the final with Sarah Quita, she sailed super good, but lost in a tight 3/2 decision. Yoli has been pulling amazing freestyle moves since a while ago, but never got it together in competition, but I guess now the time has come!!!

WHAT IS GOING ON!!!! EVERYONE IS GETTING INJURED!!!!

Something must be wrong in the stars at the moment. A lot of people is getting injured!!!!!! Micah Broke his leg yesterday, Gollito has a bad foot but he might be able to compete (fingers crossed for him), Ricardo has also a really bad foot, me, my shoulder is killing me!
oh well.... it is official now. I entered the freestyle. I will have fun with the girls and try to get in the prize money.

FREESTYLE TIME NOW.... SHOULDER IN PAIN!!!!!

The last days I have been going to the South of Fuerte to get back into freestyle. It is been a big challenge. It is pretty chopy down there and I havent done any freestyle at all. But it is all right. I manage to pull some spocks and grubbies, and even though it is not enough to do a good result, maybe I can just enter to try to get motivated again to train freestyle. All the girls are ripping, and now i am a lot behind in the moves, but anyways, I will try my best. It is just nice to be down there in the turquoise waters with everyone.
On the down side, my shoulder. It has been really painful since a while ago. I have been sailing a lot since I recovered from the foot and now, the final call from the physios is that it is pretty inflamed. So bad news. I will have to take some time off to let the inflammation go or it could become chronic, and we dont want that. So I will hold on and carry on gently and do the event, and then I will try to stop for some days (about 10 they say). It will be horrible to stop!!!!

We are now in Fuerteventura. it is so nice! We are staying with NIcole and Steffan in their new Chill out room. it is really nice and relax here!!!
AAAnd, we scored yesterday some nice conditions in El Burro. Mario Entero was there and could take a few pics.
Poor John was stuck in a PWA meeting down in the south.

SNAPPED!!!!!! DROPPED TO 5TH!!!

well, Pozo is over. We did the double elimination, and i dropped from 4th to 5th. Snapped!
i had a bit of a nightmare in the first half of the heat. I did not really conected teh wave very well. Then the second half was pretty good, with some good jumps and the best wave of the heat. but it wasnt enough. I was against Silvia ALba and she sailed her very best. I lost 3-2 judges and by a point or something. so close! that makes it even more painful!!!!!!!!! oh well. no worries!

Now i will go to Fuerte on wednesday, to get some wave sailing in the North Shore. We will stay at Nicole Boronat and Steffan Etiene place. I hope we get good conditions. And then i think I will go down to Sotavento and enter the freestyle event. I wont do very good, that is for sure, but maybe it will motivate me to get back into freestyle??

POZO ONE MORE YEAR: 4TH SO FAR: NOT TOO BAD!

Hey!!!

Pozo is already on as you might know already. the comp started yesterday and we started with the waves discipline (the only one i entered this year). I did 4th in the single elimination. I am pretty happy on one side but a bit sad on the other. conditions were pretty shity by the end of the day, but they keep running it. my riding was pretty shocking in the last heat, so i am very disappointed on that side. but it doesnt matter... Daida won, Iballa second and Karin Jaggi third. in the boys, my team mate Victor Fernandez won the men, he is sailing sick!, and another really good friend did second, Dani Bruch. I am super happy for him!!!!!!! he deserve it! then, also, "our" kid from Vargas, Philip, was the real sensation of the day. he took out Regis Bouron, Levi Siver and Alex Mussolini, and only lost to the master Victor Fernández. A lot of the friends from Vargas were there and we were all soooooooo happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! still the double elimination to come, so it is not over yet!
