SAYING GOOD BYE TO AUSTRALIA...

I am leaving Australia tonight... it has gone so fast!!!! i cant believe i have been here nearly 5 weeks!!!! time flies!!!! but they say time flies when you are having fun.... and I have. I have sailed LOADS! on really good conditions of all kinds, with a lot of friends and meeting new ones... so it has been great! we spent the last week in Geraldton (yes, we made it after we broke down last week) and it was super good fun: Dani, Laure and Simon for a bit, Katie, and the Swiss team Andy and Alex.. their little van!!! looks so sketchy but .. hey.... so brave!!! so fun seing the little van overtaking the big lorries!!!! they came all the way from the East coast on it!!!!

BROKE DOWN ON THE WAY TO GERALDTON

Somehow, we had that feeling before we started the 4 hours trip. And it happened. we broke down in the middle of nowhere. thank God there was a pertol station we could stay in and wait for the rescue!!! it was 43ºC!!! not a good day to break donw! but in the end, we made it! Katy and friends rescue us and the RAC took the car back to Perth while we carried on up to Gero.

DOWN SOUTH NOW

I have done sooooo many Km!!!!!! up and down! we went up to Lancelin from Margaret River and we went off roading to a spot called the "Wedge". it was pretty windy!!! and pretty much like Vargas kind of sailing, what it was pretty fun!!! plus Luke and Ty joined the trip, and it was super fun to be so many people sailing on a place just for ourselves!!! then we went back down to Perth and tried to score some "Gold" conditions in Rotnest island, but the swell didnt arrived as it was predicted. still some fun sailing with Margareta. now I am down south, and we had some awesome conditions here yesterday: 3,7 and nice solid head high waves. I am having such a great time!!!! good sailing and good laugh with everyone. Up until now i was hanging still with the Scotty, Margareta, JC, Jaeger, Bouji, Cyril, Johny Rock, and some others, but now they are all leaving so i decided to stay down here with Ben and Dani for a couple of days as the weather is going to be like this for a couple of days. Probably will try to go back up to Geraldton won thursday, but lets see what the forecast says!!!!

STILL IN MARGARET RIVER

I decided to stay in Margaret River for a little while longer as the forecast was pretty good fro down here and I dont have many opportunities to sail big waves port tack. I am hanging out with Scotty and the guys from Starboard that are doing their shoot.
Conditions are good. the last couple of days it hasnt been much waves, still all right, like head high, but enough for me to break three battens yesterday. today it is supposed to be quite a bit bigger... lets see!!!!!!

SAILING WITH THE DOLPHINS: PHOTOSHOOT FINISHED

Yesterday we had an adventure trip. The only place to sail was about 3 or 4 hours away. But we decided to go anyways. The last bit of the trip had to be done in 4x4 and we all squeezed in one truck all the way to the beach. When we got there: gold! Windy, logo high waves and turquoise waters! The sailing was fun but difficult. It was super off shore and hard to sail, but fun. The beach was beautiful and in the middle of nowhere!!!!!!!!!!. Some dolphins came around and start sailing next to us (I nearly shitted myself at first, but after it was really cool!) , and following us, jumping right next to the board...even riding some waves with us!! So cool!! so nice!!! What an experience! Never happen to me before!!!
Now the photoshoot is finished and I don't really know what will I do.... probably go sailing with Laure that she is here and just cruise....
