GOING HOME...

Today I am finally going back home. I have been in the UK for past few days, and although it has been pretty fun, I cant wait to go home.

But I have to admit that I am shitting in my pants a bit. When you turn on the TV the only thing they talk about is that pig flu. So being a Hypochondriac as I am, I am totally freaking out about going to the airport. I turned on the TV this morning and they were saying there are a few flights landing in Gatwick today from Cancun (Mexico) and I fly from Gatwick... so I am shitting it. I am thinking about wearing one of those masks things, but I will look like a total idiot!!!!! ohhhh well.... luckily Timo Mullen gave me these pictures from my last few days in Maui when life was sunny and pink! I know I suck at surfing, but i love it!

BYE MAUI...CANT WAIT TO BE HOME NOW!

Hello... sorry for the lack of updates, but the wind shutted down the last week in Maui and there wasnt much to report. There were some really good surfing days, nicely glassy and sunny. Really nice to have a few days like that after so much wind.

Gran Canaria seems like it will be windy next week, but i hope i will rest for a few days before that!!!!

By the way. if you are thinking about traveling to Maui, keep in mind that they are being total wankes at the ariport and they are charging A LOT fro the equipment. at least with United.

WINDSURFING LESSONS IN MAY

Hi there,

I will have few weeks free in May and I am thinking about giving some windsurfing lessons.

They will be lessons for only two people at the same time. The dates available are from the 4th to the 17th of May. They would be in the mornings, so then everyone can go freesailing in the afternoons.

THE BUTTERFLY EVENT : A HUGE SUCCESS!

Yesterday we did the "Butterfly Effect" in its third edition here in Maui. It was a HUGE success!!! we were about 100 girls!!!!!! all between Windsurfers, Kitesurfers and SUPs.

we Launched from Hookipa, after signing in and doing a little warm-up stretching session. The Lifegards and all the guys watching were having the time of their lifes watching all the girls stretching in their bikinis!!!! so fun to watch the guys looking amused!!! hehehhehehe The weather was just perfect!!! gentle wind enough for everyone to enjoy the downwinder: 4,7 weather for most of the girls and big boards, just perfect. It wasnt a race or anyting, so everyone was just chilling going downwind, enjoying the ride.

we had a safety boat, two jet-skis and even a helicopter at the end! we had a stop in Sprecks to have a rest, and have a little snack, before heading down to Upper Kanaha, where we had an amazing lunch with pizzas from Fleat Bread, cakes, and even icecream!!!

then at night we had the afterparty at Jaques, where they raffled a lot of prices from the sponsors. I got lucky and I got this AMAZING Matiko shoes!!!!!!! Finally everyone hit the dance-floor with Pio Marasco as DJ. The place was packed! I guess that having 100 hot surfer and windsurfer girls around helps as good advertisement!!!!

IT IS SO COLD AT THE MOMENT..

I know you are going to tell me I am spoiled or whatever you want. but it is not the same to be ready than not to be ready. normally you dont bring any warm clothes to Maui, so as soon as it gets chilli, men, it is cold. and it is not only me saying it! i have been sailing with a shorty wetsuit all the time and being freezing! people sailing with long leg wetsuits in Maui! never really saw that before!!!!!!!!!! and after you come off the water you put a jumper but still pretty chilly. honestly, i am not just winging! (i dont know how to write winging??? i mean complaining like a little kid... you know what I meeeeeean....

the clouds the last couple of days haven't let the wind blow properly, so it was time to go for a bit of surfing. I think I am unlearning surfing!!! not that I was good, but today was just a laugh!!!! anyways... good fun! and the other day went SUPing for a bit... good fun as well...

Tomorrow it is the Butterfly Effect here in Maui, and we are doing the downwinder from Hookipa all the way to Kanaha. will be fun. although i have the feeling we will be doing the downwinder on SUPs as it is not going to be very windy. Taty and Juliana have done an extraordinary job organizing this thing, with lunch for everyone, prizes and even a party!!! it will be fun for sure!!!

MAUI NEWS..

First of all, sorry for not updating so much in the last days. No excuse, just a bit lazy.

I am still in Maui, and it is still windy, but not as crazy as before. Now the wind is nice. Not so much about the general weather, it is pretty cloudy, but still fun sailing. A few days ago we had a big swell, and it was super nice, and now is fading away, but still some waves around.

My photoshoot finished a while ago, but still a lot of stress going on at the beach with the other brands still shooting. it is better/worst than a contest! everyone trying to do the best moves..
