FINALLY IN MAUI!!!

BRITISH AIRWAYS WILL NOT ACCEPT WINDSURF/SURF GEAR!!!!!!!

Hi,
British Airways has announced that they will no longer take windsurf equipment or surfng boards in their flights. I think that we all know what this will mean, and also, if they seccess with de idea, maybe other companies will follow. If this happen, it will have a huge negative repercusion in the sport, and in our holidays!!!!!!!!!! so I beg you to go into the BA site, and write a complain about it:

Also, the Students Windsurfing Association from England has put up in their website and letter you can just sign to send your complain. Go to:

IN ENGLAND, WEEK STOP TO MAUI

Hi!

I am in England since las sunday. I think England is the bets place for me to have time off the water. It is cold or chilli, so I dont feel the need of jumping in the ocean, I feel quite content staying indoors. So i like it in that way. I have been in the South Coast, in Pool, but we also went to Devon, where Tim and his girlfriend, Emily, live. They have a super nice house that they are reparing a bit, but when they will finish will be amazing!!!! we also visite Timo and Zani in Timo´s new amazing place!!!!!!!!!!! such a nice house and in sucha nice place!!!! Congratualtions for getting that nice house!!! We have also been painting mugs! I couldnt do this anywhere else in the world, doing that in the middle of the afternoon instead of been at the beach..So as you can see, England is good for me for a few days!!!

GRAN CANARIA CHALLENGE

Hello!!!
Last Saturday, it took place the Gran Canaria Challenge, a race sponsor by Burbujita where you have to cross the island of Gran Canaria fro south to North. It was about 74 Km, but up and down the top of the island!!!!! no, I didnt do it, you crazy or what?, but some friends did it, crazy people. They could finish the race, what is already a big thing!!!! well....actually, the only thing that really mattered. They started at 6 in the morning!!! and Antonio finished at about 6 in the afternoon and Juanito at about 8ish...14 hours!!!!! walking!!!! Manolo had to retired in the last bit of the race...such a pitty...but he was having problems in his knee (no way!!!! after walking for 12 hours!!!) well, this are some pictures from when they arrived!!!! Congratulation boys!!!!!

ON MY WAY TO MAAAAAAAAUI....

Tonight I am leaving to England. I will stay there for a week and after we will go to spen about five weeks in Maui. In a way I am really happy about leaving, one week in England can be a good holiday to disconect from everything and dont worry about not going sailing or anything, it is cold, I have a good excuse!!!!!and Maui after can be really good!!!! but on the other hand, I am really loving it at home at the moment. its quite and we have always something going on: surfing when it is not windy and windsurfing when there is. I dont know... I am a bit sad about leaving home. But no worries, sometimes it is like when you dont want to go to a party and in the end you have the best time of your life...maybe this will be the trip of my life!!!!!

SUCH A GOOD TIME!

The last two weeks have been amazing. I had sooooo much fun!!! We havent had any wind (apart from two days last week that were also fun), but it has been such a good week for surfing. The waves werent too big, just right, and it was super sunny and glassy. The water is so warm at the moment here in Gran Canaria that it felt just great!. I was on the water for pretty much all day, as my friends were coming out in different times ads they finished their work. And then, back home, nice dinner with nice wine and straight to bed, no energy for even put the tv on!!! well.. now the wind is back, so i gues we will have some fun sailing too. the forecast is not very promising for waves on the east coast, that is where we sail, but you never know!!
PS: I took the picture right before i went on the water to put in on the blog, it is not the best picture at allor neitehr the best of the sets, but I was too in a hurry to get on the water to wait to do a better one!

SOME DOWNTIME AT HOME.

Hi,

I am back home since last monday, but i have been too sick to be able to even write!!!! Yes, as soon as I got in the plane and released all the competition tention, my body died. I got the flu (yes, I think the proper flu, with my bones aching and all that). So I was pretty much in bed for three days! I even had to cancel a trip to Morocco with some friends!!! debastated about that!!!!!. Now I am much better, I even went out for a little surf (though maybe I should have stayed, I had no strengh, and my space vision was just wrong!!! I nearlly kill two people... thank God they were all friends!).
Well, last night was actually the first time I left the house to go for a dinner up in the country. The place was nice and with sort of "new age" cuisine, and it was really nice.
